Belarusian Olympic Academy awarded NOC Honorary Diploma
The Belarusian Olympic Academy is celebrating its 30th anniversary today, and the Head of the National Olympic Committee, Viktor Lukashenko, has congratulated BOA, presenting the NOC Certificate of Honour, the National Olympic Committee’s press service reports
Viktor Lukashenko noted that the Belarusian Olympic Academy has experienced different periods in its formation, but all employees have always remained faithful to the ideals of Olympism.
"I am happy that the Belarusian Olympic Academy has been most active in promoting sports and the values of our movement in recent times, and it is already widely known in many educational institutions. Your important and very necessary educational mission has a special role in the modern world," Viktor Lukashenko said.
The Chairperson of the BOA Presidium, Irina Guslistova, and the BOA Executive Director, Natalia Aponchuk, thanked the NOC of Belarus for all-round assistance in promoting joint projects.
