Belarusian food heads to Egypt
Exports of Belarusian food products and agricultural raw materials to Egypt made $770,000 in the first six months of 2021 – up 2.4 times against the same period last year
The figures were announced at a recent meeting of Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Minister, Ivan Krupko, with the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade of Egypt – Ali El-Sayed Ali El-Moselhi.
As the Agriculture and Food Ministry’s press service has informed, the parties also discussed promising areas of trade and economic co-operation, while outlining the measures to intensify it. As noted, Egypt is one of the strategic partners for Belarus on the African continent. Co-operation between our countries in the field of agriculture is developing dynamically.
Belarus is also interested in increasing exports of food, primarily dairy products - butter, cheese and milk powder – as well as halal meat products (beef, poultry) in the future.
