Belarusian diplomats presented traditional dishes at Hanoi food festival

Vladimir Borovikov, Ambassador of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, along with the embassy staff, took part in the 12th International Food Festival in Hanoi on November 7th-8th. The festival was organised by the Vietnamese Diplomatic Corps Service Department, Belarus’ Foreign Ministry told sb.by.
The event featured 130 booths presenting national food and souvenirs from over 50 countries. The programme included presentations of national cuisines from Vietnam and other countries, cultural and art exchanges, and charity drives.
Over 10,000 Hanoi residents and tourists attended the festival and had a chance to taste traditional Belarusian dishes like draniki (potato pancakes), kolduny (stuffed dumplings made of unleavened dough), national confectionery products and pastry baked by Belarusian diplomats and their families.

The event was covered extensively by local media.
