Belarusian diplomat lectured for Presidential University of Indonesia
Ambassador Roman Romanovsky has delivered a lecture for students of the Presidential University on the diplomatic relations between Belarus and Indonesia, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
The diplomat informed on the Presidential election held in Belarus on January 26th and the convincing victory of the current leader, Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Mr. Romanovsky spoke in detail about the priorities of Belarus' foreign policy and its modern socio-economic achievements. He presented the Belarusian potential in the fields of industry, agriculture, information and communication technologies, culture and tourism, while also informing on educational opportunities. The diplomat invited Indonesian young people to continue their studies in Belarusian higher education institutions.
The head of the diplomatic mission drew the attention of the audience to the feat of the Belarusian people in the fight against Nazism during the Great Patriotic War and the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in 2025. He also informed students on the Belarusian-Indonesian co-operation and prospects for its development in the fields of education, science, culture and interregional relations.
Special emphasis was placed on the potential of trade and economic liaisons between the states, including in the context of Belarus’ presidency of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025.
