Belarusian culture and national dishes presented at charity festival in Uzbekistan
The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan – headed by Ambassador Leonid Marinich – has taken part in the 19th charity festival of cultural traditions and national dishes among the diplomatic missions accredited in the country, the Belarusian Embassy reports
The Belarusian diplomats were also joined by representatives of the Belarusian Svitanak cultural centre from Tashkent.
“The festival guests could get acquainted with a variety of dishes of Belarusian cuisine cooked by the Embassy staff, as well as hear a live performance of songs that have become Belarus’ ‘hallmark’. At the end of the event, the participants were awarded diplomas of the organising committee. The jury highly appreciated the national dishes, musical programme and costumes presented by Belarus,” the diplomatic mission said.
