Belarusian citizenship granted to 244 persons, including 24 minors

244 people, including 24 minors, have been granted Belarusian citizenship in line with Decree No. 223 signed by the President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, on June 11^th, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

Persons who have arrived from 18 countries are now new citizens of Belarus. The presentation of Belarusian passports to them will be preceded by a solemn ceremony of taking the oath of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus.

At the same time, the Head of State decided to reject citizenship applications of foreigners who have not fulfilled all the conditions for admission to citizenship of the Republic of Belarus established by national legislation.
