Belarusian brands on show at international exhibition in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, which is taking place this year from April 21st to 26th in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe – is among the most anticipated events in the international exhibition calendar for Belarusian manufacturers
The Made in Belarus exposition, organised by the Belinterexpo unitary enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is an integral part of a significant regional exhibition event. The exhibition unites over 20 countries and 430+ exhibitors.
Belarus is one of the most anticipated participants of the exhibition, as its products enjoy high demand in the region – among the public sector and business representatives. Belarusian enterprises took part in the show for the first time in 2019 and, since then, they have been regular participants (except the years 2020 and 2021).
As a result of the signed agreements and contracts, Belarus' exports to Zimbabwe increased by more than several dozen times. As noted by Belinterexpo specialists, this has become possible primarily due to the high-level visits and the implementation of the previously reached agreements. “Regular contacts at the level of government bodies and business circles of the countries have also contributed significantly, and the participation in exhibition events is one of the tools of this interaction,” the source added.
The Made in Belarus exposition features a wide range of goods and services from the sectors of mechanical engineering, the food industry, education, and medicine. Developments in the range of mining dump trucks and related services for maintenance of heavy machinery are on show as well. Educational potential, training programmes, and industry-specific scientific and practical projects for international students are presented by the Belarusian State University.
Business meetings and negotiations with foreign partners are scheduled as part of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
