Belarusian Ambassador taking part in forum on co-operation between Central Asian countries

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Leonid Marinich, takes part in the Regional Co-operation of Central Asian Countries within the Framework of the Joint Action Plan for the Implementation of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy high-level international conference – as sb.by was informed in the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Tashkent

Greetings to the forum participants were sent by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. UN Secretary General António Guterres also delivered a video message to the conference participants.

According to the Belarusian embassy, the conference began its work in Tashkent on March 3rd. It was organised by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism, the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
