Belarusian Ambassador discussed co-operation in agriculture, energy and medicine with Nigeria’s official
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Vyacheslav Bril, has met with the Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje – as informed by the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Abuja
As reported by the Belarusian Embassy, the sides discussed prospects of co-operation in agriculture, energy, medicine and education.
The Kano State is the second largest industrial and commercial centre of Nigeria (behind Lagos) and the largest one in the northern part of the country. Its main production areas include textiles, footwear, cosmetics, furniture, pharmaceuticals and soft drinks.
Agriculture is developed in the state and Kano is known as the leading Nigerian producer of dairy products, vegetable oils, rice and animal feed.
