Belarusian agricultural machinery on show at Tajik expo dedicated to Sada holiday

Viktor Denisenko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan, took part in the exhibition of agricultural products and handicrafts dedicated to the celebration of Sada holiday which gives a start to field agricultural works – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The exhibition was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulaimon Ziyozoda, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Social Development and Public Relations Emomali Nasriddinzoda, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Kurbon Hakimzoda, as well as heads of Tajik ministries and departments, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the countries’ scientific figures, farmers of the Sughd and Khatlon regions, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, cities and regions of republican subordination.

At the exhibition site, Viktor Denisenko met with the heads of state bodies of Tajikistan, and issues of further expansion of bilateral co-operation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed.

“A presentation for Tajik farmers has taken place to demonstrate tractor equipment of the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) and GS-200 grain harvester manufactured by Gomselmash Holding Company. Constructive negotiations were held with the leadership of Tajik agricultural enterprises on the supply of Belarusian equipment for the needs of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tajikistan,” the press service reported.
