Belarus, Zimbabwe confirmed intention to implement agreements in economic and humanitarian spheres

Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik held a meeting with the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development of Zimbabwe, Amon Murvira, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports

According to the source, Amon Murvira’s visit was an important element in the implementation of the agreements reached by the President of Belarus during his state visit to Harare in January this year, as well as the visit of Zimbabwe's First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa to Belarus in April. "The visit focused on issues of education, science and technology, healthcare, including maternal and child health, development of co-operation in the field of agriculture and processing industry," it said.

During the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to fully implement the agreements reached at the highest level in the economic and humanitarian spheres, also discussing substantive steps for their effective implementation.
