Belarus, Vietnam expand cultural ties
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam, Vladimir Borovikov, met with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, Ta Quang Dong – as reported by the Belarusian diplomatic mission
Among those present at the meeting were also the heads of sports and tourism departments.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of Belarusian-Vietnamese co-operation in the field of culture and, in particular, proposed to exchange Days of Culture and Cinema and organise thematic photo exhibitions.
The Vietnamese side confirmed its readiness to develop relations with Belarus in the field of culture and to restore the pre-pandemic level of interaction.
The sides also agreed to review the Belarus-Vietnam co-operation programmes in the cultural and sports spheres.
