Belarus, Venezuela intend to intensify activities of joint ventures
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Andrei Molchan, met with Venezuela’s Vice President for Planning Ricardo Menendez and Minister of Industries and National Production Jose Biomorgi – as reported by BelTA
As informed, the sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached as part of the 8th session of the Belarusian-Venezuelan high-level commission held in December 2021.
Special attention was paid to enhancement of Belarusian-Venezuelan production facilities’ work. In addition, the sides discussed priority measures necessary to increase bilateral trade and economic co-operation.
Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on February 4th, 1997. In December 2006, the Embassy of Venezuela in Belarus was opened and, in October 2007, the Embassy of Belarus in Venezuela began its work.
