Belarus, Uzbekistan see prospects for strengthening liaisons
Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister, Dmitry Yaroshevich, has met with the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bobur Abdinazarov, as part of his working visit to this country – as reported by the Belarusian Economy Ministry
The sides discussed prospects for deepening production co-operation ties between Belarus and Uzbekistan, including in the field of machine and tool building, also appreciating a significant potential in the creation of joint facilities to produce spare parts and components in Uzbekistan.
An agreement was reached to continue working on this issue within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Co-operation between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
