Belarus-UN co-operation discussed at Foreign Ministry
Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Yuri Ambrazevich, met with the UN Resident Co-ordinator in the Republic of Belarus, Ioanna Kazana-Vishnevetsky – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The sides discussed the state and prospects of Belarus-UN co-operation to solve the problems of economic development, promote social progress and improve living standards.
Mr. Ambrazevich stressed the importance of improving mechanisms of interaction in order to provide targeted and meaningful assistance to the Government from the UN with focus on the most practical interests of relevant governmental ministries and departments.
The issues of providing humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian refugees arriving in Belarus were also discussed.
