Belarus to provide Br328,000 of humanitarian aid to Myanmar
Belarus will render humanitarian assistance to Myanmar – as envisaged by Resolution No. 235 of the Council of Ministers as of April 24th, 2025, sb.by reports with reference to the National Legal Internet Portal
The Emergencies Ministry has been instructed to send a search and rescue team consisting of 33 persons, two search dogs, and two vehicles with equipment for emergency rescue to provide humanitarian assistance to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. In addition, 15 tents, 1.5 thousand blankets, 13,380 cans of condensed milk, 7,680 cans of canned meat and 50 bags of sugar will be sent. A representative of the Emergencies Ministry’s leadership and two employees of emergency management bodies and departments will go to Myanmar to accompany the cargo and participate in official meetings.
In turn, the Defence Ministry will oversee the transportation of the rescue team and its return to Belarus after the completion of the work, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid.
In total, Belarus’ humanitarian aid to Myanmar will exceed Br 328 thousand.
The resolution comes into force from the date of its adoption and applies to relations that have arisen since March 28th, 2025.
