Belarus to produce $25bn of import-substituting products in 2022
This year, Belarus plans to produce $25bn of import-substituting products – as informed by the First Deputy Economy Minister, Yuri Chebotar
“We attract all categories of enterprises into this work as much as possible. This year, about 2,500 enterprises will take part in this work,” Mr. Chebotar said.
As informed, about 3,000 commodity items – that were previously imported to Belarus from the unfriendly countries – need to be replaced. “250 investment projects will be implemented. Jointly with our colleagues, we are now monitoring these projects and render support if necessary,” Mr. Chebotar added.
