Belarus to inspect level of territorial defence management bodies’ preparation

In accordance with the Armed Forces’ training plan, the regional and Minsk city executive committees hold annual exercises from March 1^st-4^th aimed at improvement of the level of preparation and co-ordination of the territorial defence management bodies for formation of territorial troops – as reported by the Defence Ministry’s press service

Over four days, theoretical and practical classes will take place in all administrative districts for officials of executive committees and military commissariats, the administration personnel of points for receiving mobilisation resources. Checking of the availability and storage conditions of existing stocks of material resources is planned as well.

Special attention will be paid to training of military service personnel. During a one-day training camp, they will be informed of the basics and procedure of actions during formation of territorial troops.
