Belarus to chair the Council of Heads of CIS Financial Investigation Bodies

This decision was made at a meeting of the Council in Minsk.
Igor Marshalov, Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus, Director of the Financial Investigation Department (in 2013-2014, he was already the Chairman of this Council), was elected Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Heads of Tax Investigation Bodies, and the functions of the Secretariat of the Coordinating Council of Heads of Tax Investigation Bodies (CCHTIB) were transferred to the Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
The Coordinating Council of Heads of Tax Investigation Bodies is an industry cooperation body of the CIS, established in October 1999 for interaction and coordination of actions in the fight against violations of tax (financial) legislation.
