Belarus taking part in Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Baku

The Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement began its work in Baku, and Belarus there is represented by Yaroslav Alekseev from the Youth Centre of the Republican Institute of Higher Education, BelTA reports

An address of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev was read out to the participants and guests of the event, in which the Head of State noted that summit in Baku is of great importance in terms of strengthening co-operation between the youth of the participating states and mutually beneficial liaisons.

The event has gathered representatives of 60+ countries of the Non-Aligned Movement who are expected to take part in a training session on effective management of organisations and panel discussions with officials’ participation, and also to hold various presentations. The programme includes a visit to the Ethnographic Museum and an event on intercultural exchange.

The Youth Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement will last until July 29th.
