Belarus, Slovakia discussed topics of mutual interest in trade and industry

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), Vladimir Ulakhovich, met with the Chargé d'affaires of Slovakia in Belarus, Katarina Zakova – as informed by BelCCI

As reported, the sides considered the possibilities of intensifying liaisons between Belarusian and Slovakian businesses in modern conditions, as well as prospects for implementation of joint business projects, strengthening bilateral co-operation in the fields of automotive industry, electric transport production, equipment for the dairy industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and medical tool-building, IT, and tourism.

The meeting participants also focused on the issues of co-operation between the two states’ chambers of commerce and industry, resumption of the exchange of visits, organisation of business events, including online meetings and negotiations of representatives of enterprises and organisations, presentations of trade, economic and investment potential of Slovakia for Belarusian companies.

Mr. Ulakhovich invited Ms. Zhakova and the Slovak Embassy staff to participate in traditional B2D events of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of celebrating the Kupala Night Festival (Alexandria Gathers Friends), and also events dedicated to the Trade Adviser Day which will be hosted by the Brest Region this year.
