Belarus Segodnya Editor-in-Chief: traitors skilfully being created around the globe with help of USAID

With the help of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), traitors in different countries were skilfully being created – as noted by Dmitry Zhuk, the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Belarus Segodnya Publishing House, in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel

Commenting on the latest statements about USAID, Mr. Zhuk noted, “We must use this situation to once again demonstrate the facts and confirm our own words that, with the help of this organisation, traitors were skilfully created in different countries. They were initially paid for seemingly good campaigns – such as nature preservation, for example. But it turned out later that they were already being paid from another country. Real betrayal – political or military – began to be demanded from them, and many people got trapped. It's a tricky, insidious technology.”

At the same time, the Belarus Segodnya Editor-in-Chief expressed confidence that the United States would not change its strategy. “If Elon Musk has posted such facts about USAID, then they need it for some reason. Actually, USAID had not only the wolf's tail sticking out from under the sheep's skin: it had fangs already. The agency has lost its effectiveness, everyone has already figured it out – so it cannot be used. Moreover, not all the facts have been disclosed: only those that discredit the Democratic government and confirm the politics of the new US President. What will happen next? It will be the same as with Twitter, which is the X social network now. They will do the same, just give a different name.”
