Belarus, Russia step up fight against transnational crime
As part of his working trip to Belarus, the Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, has held a trilateral meeting with the First Deputy Chairman of Belarus’ Investigative Committee, Oleg Shandarovich, and the Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee, Aleksei Volkov – as reported by the Investigative Committee
Mr. Shandarovich shared the experience of interaction between investigators and experts, and also identified the most popular studies that are assigned to investigate different categories of crimes.
The meeting participants expressed their readiness to continue exchanging scientific experience, while putting into practice positive developments in the field of expert research in Russia and Belarus in order to enhance effectiveness of co-operation in the fight against transnational crime.
