Belarus, Russia discussed regional security issues

The 61st meeting of the Joint Advisory Group on Arms Control Issues of the defence ministries of Belarus and Russia has taken place in Minsk today, Belarus’ Defence Ministry reports in its Telegram channel

The Russian side was represented by a delegation led by the Head of the National Centre for Reducing Nuclear Danger of Russia, Sergei Ryzhkov. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Director of the Verification Department at the Defence Ministry’s Department of International Military Co-operation, Colonel Yuri Rakitsky.

The agenda of the meeting included the discussion of regional security issues, the state and prospects of bilateral co-operation in the field of arms control in the current conditions of the military-political situation.
