Belarus, Russia discussed creation of Union State media holding

Representatives of Belarus’ Information Ministry and the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of Russia met in Moscow to discuss creation of a media holding of the Union State – as informed by the Information Ministry of Belarus

The parties discussed the issue of modernisation of the Union State’s information system and approved the main approaches to creation of a joint media holding.

It is reported that a Belarusian-Russian working group was tasked to develop an algorithm for implementation of this project.
