The participants agreed on further co-operation in the field of digitalisation and telecommunications. The meeting also approved the regulations for interaction with government authorities and organisations interested in co-operation with Rosatom. Mr. Abakumov noted that the parties are working together to implement solutions that will accelerate the digital future in various areas: from industry to housing and utilities and smart cities.

Rosatom and Belarus’ State Committee for Science and Technology signed a protocol on amendments to the comprehensive programme of Russian-Belarusian co-operation in nuclear non-energy and non-nuclear projects in late November 2024. The document envisages the expansion of liaisons in the field of digitalisation and telecommunications technologies.
