Belarus ready to supply mining machinery to Murmansk Region

Belarus is ready to consider the possibility of supplying machinery for the mining industry to Russia’s Murmansk – as noted by Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats on meeting a Russian delegation at the Council of Ministers

Mr. Zayats informed on the areas open for establishment of closer ties between Belarus and the Murmansk Region. “You have many quarries, so we are ready to consider the possibility of supplying vehicles to the Murmansk Region. In addition, food, light industry products and many more can be directly delivered to you,” he addressed the Russian delegation.

In turn, the Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region, Olga Kuznetsova, thanked Belarusians for the proposal, saying, “We definitely need to upgrade our mining machinery, and our enterprises are ready to replace it with Belarusian-made equipment.”
