Belarus’ President scholarships for 2023 granted to 64 graduate students

Scholarships of Belarus’ President for 2023 have been granted to 64 graduate students who are engaged into dissertation research in priority areas of scientific, sci-tech and innovative activity in educational institutions and scientific organisations – as envisaged by a decree signed by the Head of State, Aleksandr Lukashenko, on January 12th, BelTA reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

Scholars’ scientific achievements are of great importance for society and the state. Their successful developments in the field of technical, physico-mathematical, chemical, medical, agricultural, economic, pedagogical sciences, art history, sports, and Earth sciences are topical and enjoy demand.

The results of their work have been introduced into educational and practical activities of industrial, medical, agricultural and educational organisations. They are presented at national and international conferences, and also published in scientific publications.

The signed decree aims to support the scientific developments of talented graduate students, attract gifted young people to science, stimulate training of highly qualified scientists, and develop domestic scientific schools.
