Belarus’ PM: upcoming Belarusian People’s Congress meeting to be held in new status, differing from its previous and subsequent sessions

The upcoming first meeting of the Belarusian People’s Congress in a new status will be different from the previous and subsequent ones – as stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko at today’s meeting with the President on the preparation for the seventh Belarusian People’s Congress

According to the PM, the republican organising committee has started work and is considering the whole range of issues.

“All interested parties are aimed at holding this event – which is significant for the Belarusian statehood – accurately and worthily. This will the first meeting of the People’s Congress in a new status, and it will differ from all previous and subsequent ones, taking into account the need to carry out a number of organisational (primarily electoral) procedures envisaged by law,” Roman Golovchenko explained.
