Belarus participating in 37th meeting of CIS Council for Cultural Co-operation in Nur-Sultan

Belarus is taking part in the 37th meeting of the CIS Council for Cultural Co-operation held at Nur-Sultan’s National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan – as reported by the Culture Ministry’s Telegram channel

Representatives of nine countries are among the participants: Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Armenia. Belarus is represented by First Deputy Culture Minister Valery Gromada and Head of the Culture Ministry’s Cinematography Department Yekaterina Ponomareva.

The meeting participants will discuss seventeen issues, including implementation of the main activities of co-operation in the field of culture for 2021-2025 and an action plan for holding the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage in the CIS in 2022. Activities of a CIS working group on cinematography will also receive attention.

In addition, an international ART EXPO show of the CIS member states will open on September 8th at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
