Belarus, Pakistan plan to increase trade turnover

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Andrei Metelitsa, has met with the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce and Investment, Co-chairman of the Joint Belarusian-Pakistani Commission on Trade and Economic Co-operation, Abdul Razak Dawood – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for development of bilateral trade and economic co-operation, and also discussed preparations for the sixth meeting of the Joint Commission.

Attention was paid to the upcoming events, including organisation of a national Belarusian exposition and a business forum as part of the International Trade and Industry Fair in Karachi, on November 16th-18th.   

As reported, the mutual interest to promote increase in bilateral trade turnover and development of economic liaisons between the two states was confirmed.
