From June 9th-11th, Nairobi will host the main exhibition event of East Africa: the 23rd Kenya International Trade Exhibition. Belarusian companies will participate for the second time as part of a large-scale national exposition. Exhibitors will present goods and services that enjoy demand in Kenya – such as machinery, food and agricultural technologies.

Belarus maintains trade relations with half of the African states, and the main areas of co-operation embrace mechanical engineering, agriculture, medical services, education and IT.

“Not only the increase in volumes of mutual trade with the states of the continent is a promising avenue – but also diversification of exports, deepening of economic and industrial liaisons. It is important for our enterprises to reach a new level of project co-operation, build strong production links and technological chains. Apart from traditional exports, Belarusian enterprises can sell scientific, technical and production developments in the industrial and agricultural spheres, in the field of energy and transport to this market,” Dmitry Koltsov, the Head of the Africa and Middle East Department at Belarus’ Foreign Ministry, explained.
