Belarus’ largest woodworking enterprises present their products in China
Recently, the Embassy of Belarus in China, together with China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association (CTWPDA), organised a Belarusian-Chinese online exchange of business contacts for wood products trade, featuring the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Yury Senko – as reported by the Belarusian diplomatic mission
More than 70 people participated in the event. In his speech Yuri Senko noted the great interest in Belarusian board products from Chinese consumers. The diplomat expressed confidence that this seminar would help bring potential partners together, find mutually beneficial growth points and discuss the peculiarities of trade in woodworking products between Belarus and China.
It is reported that nine largest Belarusian manufacturers presented their products (fibreboard, chipboard, plywood, etc.) at the event.
The embassy recalled that, on May 25th, during a meeting of the Commission for Trade and Economic Co-operation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Committee, the Bellesbumprom Concern and CTWPDA signed a memorandum of co-operation. “The embassy will continue to work to assist interested companies in finding optimal solutions for expanding bilateral industry interaction,” stressed the diplomatic mission.
