Belarus, Kyrgyzstan signed co-operation programme for 2023-2024

A new round of Belarusian-Kyrgyz inter-ministerial consultations – held in Minsk – featured Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister, Igor Nazaruk, and Kyrgyzstan’s First Deputy Foreign Minister, Asein Isaev, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service reports

A wide range of issues of Belarusian-Kyrgyz co-operation were considered, and key areas for their activation were outlined. Particular attention was paid to the discussion of interaction between the parties in integration structures (EAEU, CIS, CSTO, SCO) and on international platforms (UN, OSCE).

“The parties expressed satisfaction with the state of the Belarusian-Kyrgyz dialogue, confirmed their intention to continue to promote its development through the foreign ministries of the two countries, discussed practical aspects of preparing and holding joint events, including those dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic," the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

A programme of co-operation between the two states’ foreign ministries for 2023-2024 and a plan of events dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic were signed.
