Belarus joins China’s e-commerce market
On July 6th, the Great Stone Industrial Park will be hosting the opening ceremony of Belarus’ national pavilion on the Chinese platforms Jingdong and Douyin. The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and China, BelTA reports.
The Great Stone Industrial Park explained that this event will mark the arrival of Belarusian electronic products to the Chinese market, “In addition to the trading functionality of these platforms, Chinese users will be able to discover the sights, culture and traditions, as well as natural wonders and history of Belarus. The publication of thematic videos that reveal the attractive features of the country for the Chinese audience is also envisaged.”
The national pavilion at Jingdong and Douyin is already operating in a test mode. The project team is engaged in the national section of the relevant marketplaces, establishing contacts with Belarusian suppliers and working in other areas.
