Belarus invites EAEU members to step up efforts in digital agenda implementation

According to Mr. Golovchenko, some important projects have not been properly developed. “The Creating an Information and Communication Showcase of National Services of the EAEU Ecosystem of Digital Transport Corridors project was supposed to be completed in December 2022, but it is only halfway there. In turn, the Eurasian Network of Industrial Co-operation, Subcontracting and Technology Transfer project has not actually progressed since 2019,” he explained.

Belarus’ PM noted that the potential of collective efforts aimed at forming a single digital space of the EAEU should be fully realised, and new well-grounded solutions are needed.

“The completion of all planned work on the readiness of the common processes of the EAEU integrated information system and the creation of a specially equipped secure network in the member states are required. We propose to discuss the results of this work in June, during the Eurasian Economic Forum. By combining our efforts, we will get a synergistic effect, and digitalisation will become a locomotive for all sectors of the economy,” Mr. Golovchenko stressed.
