After participation in the 4th International Conference on Real Estate Development and Management in Ankara, Director General of the National Cadastral Agency Dmitry Oderikho and Head of the NCA’s Valuation Department Veronika Solovieva paid a working visit to Turkiye’s General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.
“During the visit, Mr. Oderikho made a presentation to his Turkish colleagues on the NCA main activities. In turn, TKGM’s Ibrahim Cankurt and Mustafa Akkul familiarised the Belarusian delegation with the activities of the Turkish General Directorate and its key projects,” the NCA press service said.
The Turkish side expressed particular interest in the price register and the system of verification of prices of real estate transactions for compliance with the market level.
“The Belarusian delegation expressed interest in the Turkish experience in the field of cadastre in the context of future digital development. Special attention was paid to the Turkish project: Production of 3D City Models and Creation of 3D Cadastre Databases. The TKGM management confirmed their willingness to liaise, noting that after the signing of the memorandum of understanding – which is already being discussed between the State Property Committee of Belarus and Turkiye’s General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre – joint co-operation can be organised as soon as possible,” the NCA press service added.
The NCA continues to actively develop international co-operation, exchange experience and study best practices of other countries. This visit to Turkiye was an important step in strengthening ties between the two countries in the field of cadastre and real estate management.
