Belarus’ Healthcare Ministry: office for digital health to appear in the country
An office for digital health will appear in Belarus on the basis of the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Medical Technologies, Informatisation, Management and Health Economics – as reported by the Ofitsialny Minzdrav Telegram channel
The digital health office will carry out information support and support of the state policy in the field of healthcare informatisation and digitalisation, create and maintain up to date unified reference books and classifiers of healthcare – necessary for the information compatibility of information systems operated in healthcare. It is also planned to introduce the achievements of science and technology in the field of informatisation into medical practice and a number of others.
Moreover, the signed order provides for the creation of regional digitalisation offices across all regions and in the city of Minsk.
