Belarus’ Government approves three international technical assistance projects

The Government has approved three international technical assistance projects, with the corresponding resolution of the Council of Ministers dated May 6th, 2022, No. 282 officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal

According to the document, the Emergencies Ministry will co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of the projects, entitled Improving the Competence of Emergency Services in Terms of Fulfilling Duties Related to Preparedness and Response in Case of Radiological Emergencies and Prompt Notification, as well as Adaptation of the Emergency Response System of Belarus to Functioning in an Unfavourable Global Epidemiological Situation Related to COVID-19.

The Strengthening the Regulatory Capacity of the Healthcare Ministry to Ensure Effective Radiation Protection of Workers, the Public and Patients in Line with IAEA Safety Standards project will be supervised by the Healthcare Ministry.

The resolution comes into force from the date of its adoption.
