Belarus’ gold and foreign currency reserves grew to $13.725bn, reaching record high

In October 2025, gold and foreign currency reserves grew by $441m, after rising by $871.7m (7 percent) a month earlier.
Foreign currency assets and monetary gold make up the largest share in the structure of Belarus’ international reserve assets. According to the National Bank, as of November 1st, foreign currency reserves totalled $5.3697bn, rising by $124.8m in October, while monetary gold reserves reached $6.9445bn, increasing by $315.3m.
Monetary policy targets indicate that Belarus’ international reserve assets should reach at least $7.1bn by the end of this year.
