Belarus’ Foreign Ministry confirms arrival of Russian delegation to Gomel for talks with Ukraine

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has confirmed the arrival of a Russian delegation to Gomel for talks with Ukraine, TASS reports

"True, we confirm this information. The Belarusian side has already prepared everything necessary for negotiations, while ensuring the full resolution of all protocol, logistics and other issues," Anatoly Glaz, the Foreign Ministry’s press secretary, said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, informed that a Russian delegation had arrived in Belarus. According to him, it includes representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Defence Ministry and other departments, including the Presidential Office. “We will be ready to start these negotiations in Gomel," Mr. Peskov said – as reported by RIA Novosti.
