Mr. Ryzhenkov, in particular, noted that on June 26th, at the end of the Eurasian Economic Forum, a plenary session of the forum is expected to be held at the Minsk International Exhibition Centre, which will be attended by the President of Belarus, as well as heads of delegations from other countries.

“As of today, we can confirm the participation of the EAEU leaders, as well as observer countries: Uzbekistan and Cuba. The delegations of the UAE, Mongolia, and Nicaragua also expressed their desire to attend this event. The heads of delegations will share their vision of the region’s development, discuss trade-economic and financial issues, and present their vision of the current situation in the world at the plenary session,” Belarus’ FM noted.

Belarus’ top diplomat pointed out that the leaders of all EAEU members, with the exception of Armenia, will take part in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting on June 27th. The Armenian side will attend the session via video conference. The heads of state are expected to discuss the current agenda in a narrow and broad format and make important decisions on the prospects for the EAEU development.

“It is also planned that two agreements on trade-economic co-operation between the EAEU and Mongolia, the EAEU and the UAE will be signed,” Mr. Ryzhenkov said.

He stressed that the official visit of the President of Cuba to Belarus will take place as part of all these events. And so far, the Belarusian side is planning an official visit by the President of Iran.

“Although we understand the situation that is taking place in the region, and we wish for a speedy settlement and the advent of peace on this land,” the FM pointed out.
