Belarus’ FM accepted copies of credentials from Chinese Ambassador
On September 17th, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan, during which the new head of the Chinese diplomatic mission presented copies of credentials, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The two sides shared views on the state and prospects for the development of Belarusian-Chinese co-operation, stressing its level and noting the intensity of contacts between the two countries’ leaders, government agencies, business and scientific community, and other participants of bilateral interaction.
Belarus’ active role in implementing China’s Belt and Road initiative, as well as in promoting initiatives in the field of global development, global security and global civilisation was underlined.
Maksim Ryzhenkov wished Zhang Wenchuan success in his diplomatic work and congratulated his Chinese colleagues on the Mid-Autumn Festival. In turn, the Chinese Ambassador congratulated Belarus on National Unity Day.
