Belarus expands financial support tools for exports

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has signed Decree No. 16, which amends Decree No. 412 On Export Support as of November 14th, 2019, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

The document, in particular, expands the possibility of reimbursing part of the costs of assessing compliance with not only technical, but also other mandatory requirements for the sale of goods in certain countries, such as veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements, and requirements for agricultural, food and cosmetic products (Halal, Kosher, Kashrut, Certificate of Health, and others).

The decree provisions will contribute to expansion of the existing instruments of financial support for exports and simplify access of Belarusian products to promising markets, including the countries of the far arc (China, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, and others).
