Belarus, Egypt’s Port Said reached agreements on interaction between business structures

Sergei Terentiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, has paid a working visit to the city of Port Said – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The Belarusian Ambassador met with Port Said Governor Adel Ibrahim Al Ghadhban, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce, and business representatives of Port Said.

“During the meeting with Port Said Governor Adel Ibrahim Al Ghadhban, ways of developing friendly ties and co-operation across various fields were discussed. Interest was confirmed to develop bilateral ties in such areas as industry, agriculture, and trade,” the press service noted.

It is underlined that interest was noted in attracting Belarusian companies to projects in the territory of the Suez Canal Economic Zone. In a conversation with the Chamber of Commerce leadership, economic issues were substantively tackled. Moreover, information was shared on promising positions of mutual trade. Agreements were also reached on organising direct interaction between Belarusian business structures and the Port Said Chamber of Commerce.
