Belarus, Egypt expand liaisons in education
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Terentiev, discussed with Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Ayman Ashur the issues of co-operation between the two countries in the field of education – as reported in the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
According to the Belarusian diplomatic mission, the Ambassador congratulated the Minister on his appointment and wished him success in his new post. The parties also discussed the state of Belarusian-Egyptian interaction in the fields of higher education and science, interaction between higher educational institutions of the two countries within the framework of joint projects, exchange of visits through relevant departments. The Foreign Ministry reported that the Egyptian side had confirmed its interest in expanding collaboration with Belarus in higher education, primarily in such areas as engineering, architecture, medicine, agriculture, telecommunications and radio engineering.
