Belarus, Egypt discussed liaisons in healthcare and medical science

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt, Sergey Terentyev, met with the Minister of Health and Population of Egypt, Khaled Abdelgaffar – as reported by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service

The sides discussed the state of bilateral co-operation in the field of healthcare and medical science, interaction between medical institutions of the two countries, in particular, at the level of specialised universities.

Mutual interest in continuing and expanding liaisons in the medical field in such areas as cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics and nursing was confirmed. The Egyptian side showed particular interest in co-operation with Belarus in the field of modern information technologies in medicine.
