Belarus, Egypt discuss ways to intensify inter-parliamentary ties
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Terentiev has met with representatives of the leadership of the Co-ordination Committee of Party’s Youth Leaders and Politicians (CPYP) under the Egyptian Parliament: deputy of the House of Representatives Tarek El Khouly and member of the Senate Mahmoud Al Kott – as reported in the press service of the Belarusian foreign mission in Egypt
It is noted that during the meeting the parties discussed ways to intensify the Belarusian-Egyptian inter-parliamentary co-operation, including the exchange of visits of parliamentary delegations of the two countries. Moreover, they shared views on issues of the bilateral agenda and international issues.
The participants of the meeting also spoke in favour of developing contacts between the Youth Parliament under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the Co-ordination Committee of Party’s Youth Leaders and Politicians under the Egyptian Parliament, stressing the importance of further interaction between youth structures under the legislative bodies of the two countries.
