Belarus, Dominican Republic discussed co-operation in supplies of machinery, food, fertilisers and medicines

Belarus' Ambassador to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik has held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Alejandro Arias Zarzuela, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission’s press service

The diplomats discussed the development of the legal framework between Belarus and the Dominican Republic, including the draft agreements on the mutual abolition of visas and memoranda in the fields of trade and education.

“Alexander Rogozhnik outlined areas where interaction between the two countries could be promising: the supply of the entire range of Belarusian agricultural and passenger vehicles, as well as food, fertilisers and medicines to the Dominican market," the source informed.

Alejandro Arias Zarzuela held online talks between the structures of Belarus and the Dominican Republic promoting the development of foreign trade. The Dominican diplomat mentioned the tourism sector as another area that could become a point of growth in bilateral relations.
