Belarus displays large-scale exposition at UzFood expo in Uzbekistan

22nd international exhibition on food, ingredients and food technologies – UzFood – is being held in Tashkent from March 28th-30th, with Belarus presenting a large-scale exposition involving over twenty food producers

“Belgospishcheprom Concern demonstrates the products of the confectionery factories Kommunarka, Spartak and Krasny Pishchevik. Meat products are presented by Brest, Pinsk, Slonim, Volkovysk, Grodno and Oshmyany meat processing plants while the Grodno Meat Processing Plant demonstrates the novelties of its production: ‘Vostochnaya’ and ‘Kavkazskaya’ raw smoked sausages, and ‘Favorit’ boiled-smoked salami with olives. Moreover, Belarusian manufacturers present a wide range of whole-milk products: milk, cream, kefir, cottage cheese, yoghurts,” the Belinterexpo exhibition company said.

On the opening day of the exhibition, a business forum was held, attended by more than 50 leaders and representatives of government agencies and business circles from Belarus and Uzbekistan.

“Every year, a business programme is held at the UzFood international expo: a retail centre (a specialised platform for meetings of food producers with buyers, retailers and distributors), as well as seminars and master classes for participants,” Belinterexpo added.
